Ranzuki Japan has just released their Summer June 2009 issue in Japan. I just picked it up today and it’s a real smash. There are some great shots in here and this summer it’s all about color. Pop Sister Japan Popteen Special 2009

Popteen has released a special issue for June 2009 titled Pop Sister. This looks like a test issue which may see additional issues if sales are good. Overall the issue is smaller compared to Popteen and I’m not sure what sets it apart from it’s big sister. We’ll just have to see if anything comes out of this one shot wonder. Some buzz lines inside are “Tsubasa x Edwin New Release”, Gilfy presents Welcome to the Rock World, Shibuya 109 Shop Map, Mega Snap, We’re SBY Mania, and “Dear…DazzliN’ Style Book”. Happie NUTS Japan February 2009 Just Released

The February 2009 issue of Happie NUTS Japan has just been released to magazine stands everywhere in Japan. NUTS Japan is probably the best of the Shibuya 109 Gal magazines on the market right now. The models are excellent and professional. The quality of Photography is very good and very artistic. The best thing though is how Happie NUTS highlights the current fashion and trends. They are pretty much spot on as what I see in the magazine is most definitely in the stores of Shibuya 109 Tokyo. I also find that the magazine is 90 percent photographs and fashion info compared to 70% in other magazines. The rest is adverts about weight loss, diet pills, contact lenses, hostess clubs, etc. Happie NUTS gives Shibuya Gals a ton of info no doubt making it one of the top choices for fashionable Japanese gals in Tokyo. Not to mention that Happie NUTS is incredibly SEXY! Go catch it at Ricoche.net!

Have a Sexy Xmas Eve Gals – CAWAII Japan equals LOVE!

Yes, the title says it all. CAWAII Japan has released it’s ever popular and highly anticipated January Christmas Issue for Gals. Although Cawaii magazine has been getting a bit smaller in recent months, it certainly has a great issue this month. As you can see by the cover, it’s all about Japanese Shibuya Gals getting ready for their big Christmas Eve dinner, dance, and love events. In Japan Christmas is about “LOVE” and like the prom in the States, it’s a huge day for a Japanese Gal in Japan. All over Gals are finding that something special to wear and heading out for a night out in the big city with their boy of choice. I must admit, it’s one of my favorite times of the year seeing all these couples out and about having fun and enjoying life. It’s a great time of the year in Japan and quite different when compared to other parts of the world. Catch the latest CAWAII magazine from Japan as it definitely has a ton of great info about sexy Christmas dresses, outfits, hairstyles, makeup tips, and of course shoes and boots! This was a tough issue to catch on the newstands as it sold out very quickly, plus there was even a free gift in each issue. The gift was a very nice heart shaped pocket mirror. Poshh Japan – Shibuya Lingerie and Hair Salons

Poshh Japan has just released their December 2008 issue in Tokyo, Japan. This issue presents a special Shibuya Hair Salon section showing some fantastic hair styles. The Japan street snap shot in the magazine are pretty decent this month as well. Compared to some of the other Japan gal magazines, Poshh has a bit more color in their fashion shots. The December Poshh issue also highlights a special lingerie section as well like most of the other Gal magazines. The Sexiest Everything – Lip Service Japan

The December issue of Nuts Japan 2008 is now out in stores in the Tokyo area. There is a full spread in this issue titled “The Sexiest Everything” Winter 2008 Lip Service. This slogan pretty much says it all with respect to the Japan Winter 2009 Fashion lineup. Whether it’s boots, dresses, accessories, hair styles, or makeup, the trend is “Sexiest Everything”. Obviously this is a play on Japanese English in a sense, but it does characterize well the direction of Gal fashion. I noticed that the colors black and purple seem to be very popular.

There also seems to be some debate going on about what should be elegant and what is casual. The Cover title of Nuts Japan says “Black Casual Lover”. Nuts is trying to show the latest black casual trends which I must say are not that appealing. Thankfully they only spent a few pages on the subject and then got back to the real Gal trends going which are both elegant and sexy. Like last month, the December issue is EXCELLENT!!
