The May 2009 issue of EGG Japan has just been released and is now in stores all throughout Japan. The subtitle on the front cover talks about Spring Gal Once Piece Dresses which look to be highlighted throughout the magazine. There are also special columns that include Street Groove, Kaoru’s Eye, E-Jump Photomail, Beauty News, plus some fantastic makeup pages. The cover is very cute and Springy. The May 2009 issue of EGG should probably sell well this month.

Christmas Eve is near Gals! – POPTEEN Japan January 2009

POPTEEN Japan has just released their January 2009 issue and it mainly focuses on the Christmas Date period coming up this Christmas Eve. As you can see by the cover, Gals are hot after their guys making sure they will not be left alone on this most special day of the year in Japan. It is a time where Gals and Guys flock to restaurants on Christmas Eve eating famous Christmas Dinner Sets and exchanging presents. Heck, I was just in McDonalds in Japan and yes they even have a Christmas Eve Special for couples as well. POPTEEN has a great issue this month and they talk about what all Gals should be wearing this Christmas eve. Beatiful and sexy dresses, shoes, and hairstyles line the pages of a great issue this month. Not to mention advice about clubs, love hotels, and what gals should expect from their boyz! EGG Model Rumi – Shibuya Japan – January 2009

The lastest January 2009 issue of EGG Japan features Egg Model Rumi. This is the second part of her feature thus the issue subtitles Chapter 02. This issue also highlights “The Kireime Black Style” and the 2009 Tokyo Gal Trends. There are also the final results of the Tokyo Street Groove of the Year 2008 from all of the previous EGG issues. In addition, Kaoru has a special feature titled “My Life – Kaoru Global Fashion in Kyoto Japan. Finally there is a “Romikana Beauty” Special inside. There are some really great photos in this issue although sightly smaller in size compared to previous issues. The cover is quite sexy I think. Happie Nuts Japan has a jammed packed January 2009 issue which hit stands across Japan last week. Happie Nuts is becoming one of the best Shibuya 109 Gal magazines out there and this issue packs a pretty big punch. Half of the magazine is devoted to Christmas events and Japanese Gal fashion because this is THE BIGGEST time of the year for Shibuya gals. The other part is about Winter fashion and what we can expect…mainly over the knee boots, short miniskirts, sweater one piece dresses, and fur coats. Black is still the hot color right now, but pink is becoming big too. In addition, animal prints are very popular appearing in all garments from shoes, dresses, to shirts and jackets. Catch the Shibuya 109 Gal Ageha Look!

Ageha is a the latest “side note” to hit the Shibuya 109 Gal fashion scene. Ageha has more of a big hair and princess look than the normal Shibuya 109 Gals. However, the Ageha Shibuya Gals really have kicked it up a notch with regards to Street Sexy! Take a look at the latest Garter Trends fitted with the latest over the knee boots and micro mini skirts. I see these gals a lot and they really look nice and fresh in Shibuya, Japan. Ageha gals also tend to travel in groups most often so chances are you’ll see many of these gals walking down the street together. Ageha is ultra sexy, trendy, and all about being a princess. Guys be prepared to do some extra work taking care of one of these lovely gals this December during the big holiday dating season. These ladies like to be treated very well and are rich with elegance. Those hair styles by the way are stunning. I know a few Japanese Hair Stylists who do Gal and Ageha gal hair styles and they are fantastic. It’s fun to watch them put these hair styles together. Here is a shot of the latest sexy trend in Shibuya 109 Japan. You will notice that the dress is bright in color and blue in this case. This particular color blue is very popular. Also the dress is a short, tight, one piece that is also very popular. The dress has a rhinestone strip on the back and is baggy at the top slightly. The boots are a bit short as they are now over the knee, but many Japanese gals do wear the knee high as well. Most Gals I know have both styles of boots. This dress is available online from ANAP if interested, but most likely it will sell out fast.

Hey Guys! If you’re in Japan it’s time to buy your Gal some fantastic and sexy looking boots this holiday season. Check out Rakuten.co.jp for a great selection of stores where you can find the latest styles. Just remember that these boots run small. The largest is about 24.5cm but they occasionally can run 25 or even 25.5cm but that is rare and the selection will certainly diminish. I’m sure all the Gals in Shibuya 109 will be sporting a new pair of boots especially by Christmas time. After all, Christmas in Japan is the main dating season of the year!! Enjoy!

Ranzuki has just released a Volume 1 Manga Version of their popular J-Gal magazine in Japan. Below you will find the cover of the issue which actually seems popular as it was difficult ot locate and pickup a copy. I actually found this one in a local convenience store called Daily near my house. On Ricoche.net, MySpace, and Facebook, you’ll find content pages and additional information on this particular issue. At first glance it looks fabulous.
